HOLMANS Terms and Conditions of home visits (including delivery, installation & service)


For your protection and for that of our staff, you need to agree to the following conditions for a home visit.

Our staff will not enter a Covid-19 household. 

  1. Is anyone in the household in isolation because they have symptoms of COVID-19 or has tested positive to COVID-19?

  2. Within the last 14 days, has anyone in the household knowingly come into contact with anyone else showing COVID-19 symptoms or has tested positive to COVID-19?

  3. Has anyone in the household been advised to shield and if so, is the work required for their safety?


If the answer to any of the above questions is ‘yes’, please let us know so we can reschedule the visit.


Before our staff arrive at your property, we kindly ask you to sanitise any surfaces you feel they may come into contact with, and sanitise again once our staff have completed their work.  


Our vehicles all carry hand sanitiser and our staff will sanitise their hands when arriving at your property.


After ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door, our staff will stand at least 2 metres away from the door to allow it to be opened whilst maintaining social distance.

A minimum distance of 2 metres should be maintained between householders and staff at all times.

Where possible, customers should leave the room to allow our technicians to carry out the required work. If you do want to remain in the same room as our staff, we respectfully ask you to wear a face covering.

Please leave open any doors that our technicians will need to go through to avoid contact with door handles.

If possible please open windows to allow good ventilation in the rooms where our staff will be working.

Please ensure that all pets are kept out of the rooms where our staff are working. 

Product demonstrations will be kept to a minimum but we are offering unlimited telephone support if you find that you are still struggling with operating the equipment after reading the manual.

If the above requirements are not met, we reserve the right to leave the premises without completing the work and you may be charged for a return visit.
